The OPSJT14048 upgrades the traditional 100Ah capacity to 110Ah, allowing users who previously required a 100Ah battery to get 10% more capacity in the same SJT (Super Jumbo Tubular) format without any installation changes. It is ideal for 1BHK to small 2BHK homes running lights, fans, a TV, and other basic household appliances.
As per Okaya's CBH (Certified Backup Hours) declaration, independently verified by NABL-accredited laboratories under UMHD conditions, the OPSJT14048 provides: 11 hours 30 minutes at 100W load, 4 hours 55 minutes at 200W load, 2 hours 45 minutes at 300W load, and 1 hour 45 minutes at 400W load.
The OPSJT14048 offers a higher 110Ah capacity compared to a conventional 100Ah battery. In addition, Okaya's XBD+ (Xtra Backup Design Plus) technology extracts more usable energy from every ampere-hour, delivering better real-world backup than a standard 100Ah battery. It also features AEMS (Advanced Electrolyte Management System) with six ceramic water level indicators for easier and more convenient maintenance.
SJT (Super Jumbo Tubular) is Okaya's compact tubular battery design that delivers the performance of a tubular battery in a smaller footprint than traditional tall tubular batteries. It fits standard inverter cabinets and battery stands commonly used for regular tubular batteries, making replacement simple and hassle-free.
The 110Ah capacity supports lighter household loads efficiently, but operating a refrigerator will significantly reduce the available backup time. For homes that require refrigerator backup, Okaya recommends choosing a 160Ah or higher battery paired with an appropriately rated home inverter for better performance and longer backup.
