Choose by the total watts you want to run together during a power cut: the 1100 VA Okaya POWER365 is certified for loads from 200W to 800W, and the 2500 VA size from 400W to 1600W. This guide shows how to work out your load and compare the two sizes.
Add up the wattage of every appliance you want to run at the same time during an outage; that total is your load. The load calculator helps with the estimate, and the guide on what size inverter a home needs explains how load and VA rating relate.
1. List the appliances you need during a power cut: lights, fans, router, TV and so on.
2. Note the wattage printed on each appliance.
3. Add the wattage of the ones that will run together.
4. Compare the total with the certified loads of each size.
VA is the rating of the inverter, while watts is the load your appliances draw. Appliance loads are compared with the certified load figures in watts, which is why the tables below are stated in watts and not only VA.
Both sizes are an inverter with built in battery with pure sine wave output, 25A fast charging, 2000+ charge cycles and a 5-year (60-month) warranty. They differ in capacity, battery, size and certified load range.

The 1100 VA size fits homes whose combined load during an outage stays within 800W, and where a lighter, more compact unit is easier to place. At 21 kg, it is the easier of the two to handle, and it gives 6 hours 10 minutes at 200W. See the inverter lithium ion battery product page for its specifications.
The 2500 VA size fits homes that need to run more appliances together, up to a certified 1600W, or that want longer backup at the same load: 5 hours 50 minutes at 400W against 3 hours 10 minutes on the 1100 VA size. Its lithium ion battery UPS page lists the details, and it weighs 38 kg, so check the space before you buy.
Start from your load, then check the backup you need at that load. If your total load is within 800W and the backup in the 1100 VA table is enough, the 1100 VA size covers it. If the load is higher, or you want longer backup at a given load, the 2500 VA size is the one to compare.
A. Load up to 800W and backup per the 1100 VA table is enough: 1100 VA.
C. Same load but longer backup needed: compare both tables at your load.
The battery with inverter for home listing shows both sizes together. For current pricing and offers, see the inverter price with battery page on the Okaya shop, or open the product pages for the 1100va inverter price and the 2.5 kva inverter with battery price.
Your total load decides the size: up to 800W suits the 1100 VA Okaya POWER365, and loads up to 1600W call for the 2500 VA size. Calculate the load, check the backup at that load, and the right size becomes clear.
Which Okaya POWER365 size should I buy for my home?
Choose by the total wattage you run together in an outage. The 1100 VA size is certified for 200W to 800W, and the 2500 VA size for 400W to 1600W.
What is the difference between the 1100 VA and 2500 VA Okaya POWER365?
They differ in capacity and battery: 1100 VA has a 12.8V 100Ah lithium battery and 2500 VA has a 25.6V 100Ah lithium battery. The 2500 VA size is certified for higher loads, up to 1600W, and weighs 38 kg against 21 kg.
How do I calculate my home load for an inverter?
Add the wattage of all the appliances you want to run together during a power cut, and compare the total with the certified loads of the size you are considering.
How much backup does each size give at 400W?
3 hours 10 minutes on the 1100 VA size and 5 hours 50 minutes on the 2500 VA size, as Certified Backup Hours.
Can the 1100 VA Okaya POWER365 run a 1000W load?
Okaya certifies the 1100 VA size for loads up to 800W, so for a 1000W load the 2500 VA size, certified up to 1600W, is the one to look at.
Are the warranty and features the same on both sizes?
Yes. Both come with a 5-year (60-month) warranty, zero maintenance, 25A fast charging, 2000+ charge cycles, pure sine wave output and an LCD display.
What is the size and weight of each Okaya POWER365?
The 1100 VA size is 360 x 400 x 225 mm and 21 kg (+/-3%). The 2500 VA size is 450 x 485 x 205 mm and 38 kg (+/-3%).
