Okaya's inverter battery range has changed since this guide was first written. It now covers 13 models across nine capacities from 90Ah to 310Ah, so instead of ranking ten batteries this guide groups the range by capacity and use. If you are looking for an inverter battery for your home, shop or office, the table below shows every capacity, series and warranty in one place.
Okaya's inverter batteries are tubular batteries in three series: JXT, SJT and TT. All models listed here carry XBD+ technology with Certified Backup Hours.

To work out your own load, use the load calculator. The guide on which inverter battery is best for home explains matching a battery to your home in more detail.
All three are part of Okaya's tubular battery range. JXT is the 90Ah model for compact needs. Super Jumbo Tubular (SJT) is the lower design and covers 110Ah to 160Ah, and Okaya states SJT batteries recharge about 15% faster than conventional Jumbo Tubular batteries. Tall Tubular (TT) is the taller design and covers 160Ah to 310Ah. SJT models carry 48 to 60 months of total warranty and TT models 48 to 66 months.
XBD+: Okaya states XBD+ technology gives up to 15 to 20% longer backup than a conventional tubular battery of the same Ah capacity. See how XBD+ delivers longer backup for modern homes for the detail.
Certified Backup Hours: backup times declared at set loads, tested under the UMHD load cycle in NABL-accredited laboratories. The CBH page lists them by capacity.
Low maintenance: a low-antimony alloy, six ceramic water-level indicators and spill-free topping, with 1 to 2 top-ups a year on most models.
Paperless warranty registration and PAN India onsite service.
Some capacities come in more than one model. The 160Ah range, for example, is offered in both SJT and TT designs with different warranty periods, and 210Ah is offered with 48 or 60 months. When two models match your load, compare three things: the total warranty, the physical size against the space you have, and the design (SJT is the lower one, TT the taller one).
For the highest capacity in the range, the highest Ah inverter battery is the 310Ah TT model. You can compare the full range side by side on the inverter battery listing.
The inverter's system voltage decides the battery count. A 12V inverter uses one 12V battery, a 24V inverter uses two and a 48V inverter uses four. Okaya's Home UPS range includes 12V models up to 1450 VA and 24V models at 1650 VA and 2000 VA, so check the voltage of the model you choose before buying batteries.
Okaya's current inverter battery range has 13 models across nine capacities: 90, 110, 140, 160, 190, 210, 230, 260 and 310Ah.
Which Okaya inverter battery is suitable for a 2BHK home?
Okaya suggests the 160Ah battery for a 2BHK home. The right size still depends on the appliances you run and the backup hours you want, so calculate your load first.
Which Okaya inverter battery has the longest warranty?
The 260Ah TT model carries the longest total warranty in the range at 66 months.
What is the difference between SJT and TT batteries?
SJT is the lower design for 110Ah to 160Ah. TT is the taller design for 160Ah to 310Ah. SJT models carry 48 to 60 months of total warranty and TT models 48 to 66 months.
Why does the same capacity come with different warranty periods?
Okaya offers some capacities as separate models with different total warranty periods, such as 160Ah at 48, 54 and 60 months. Compare the warranty and the design of each model when you choose.
What is XBD+?
XBD+ (Xtra Backup Design Plus) is Okaya's backup design. Okaya states it gives up to 15 to 20% longer backup than a conventional tubular battery of the same Ah capacity.
How many batteries does my inverter need?
A 12V inverter uses one 12V battery, a 24V inverter uses two and a 48V inverter uses four.
How can I check which models are currently available?
The Okaya inverter battery page and the Okaya shop show the current range. You can also use the dealer locator or contact Okaya Care on +91 9818 909090 or care@okaya.in.
To compare current figures for each capacity, check the UPS battery price list and the house inverter battery price on the Okaya shop, or see the Okaya battery 210Ah price for larger homes. To buy in person, use the dealer locator.
